A Few Things That Bug Me

Okay this is sort of a rant and may be reasonably long, but here are a few things that bug me and what I think about them. Oh and this post won't be all about me complaining, there is a few other things that will be at the end.

First of all the controversy of MLG players versus people playing the game casual like. Okay let me say this, I don't utterly hate MLG to where I think it shouldn't exist, but I'm not overly thrilled about it either. Now the whole debate is about something like "Why won't MLG leave us alone?" or "Why won't the casuals leave MLG alone?", honestly I don't get it. Okay so MLG players play more competitively then a casual player would play as, but why the hate? I guess I just don't understand why you have to play MLG or not play at all, I just don't get it.
The Grunt, is confused

Now for this, Grade 4 of any rank. Most of the talk I have heard/seen has been "omg u can't get a *insert skill level here*". Okay so what if someone can't get a certain skill level, yeah maybe they can't, so what? Maybe someone doesn't want to get the next level and stay at their rank for a while. Or, what if someone doesn't care about their rank? I have someone on my friend's list that is a Staff Captain and takes all kinds of trouble for being one. Apparently that being a Staff Captain is the worst possible thing to be and you cannot live your life anymore. I joke around with a few other grade 4's that I know and whenever we get trash talked, we just ignore them. Bungie's mute button works wonders. The gold bars have several little names that come with them such as, BK bars(no, not Burger King), noob bars, gold bars of noobdom(Umm...what?)and my personal favorite; get a fifty bars. Now there may not be a lot of us, but when we unite, we are powerful.

Last thing, fun gametypes not being wanted. Again this is something that has to do with competitiveness versus casual players. I see each and every time Grifbal comes up as double exp there are 20+ threads complaining how this is like the infinity bazillionth time of it being double exp. Now some people want it to become a permanent playlist, but I don't think it would work. Population would be great at the start, but it would get old and everybody would stop playing it. Now over Grifball(which is fun to play with some friends) a lot of people would like to have Legendary Brawl whenever possible. All Legendary Brawl is, is basically 12 player free for all and ranked on all the Legendary maps and more. Yeah it's fun, but it is very repetitive. The gametypes are fun, but they are basically like slayer and that. I do like the one gametype on there called "Laser Tag", though they have a sniper rifle as a secondary weapon...

Well if you remember a while ago I mentioned something about a soccer map. Well...it's there. I just need to make a few changes to the gametype and maybe do some tinkering with the map itself and it should be ready to go. That fan-fiction I was going to write is taking off slowly. I still have to get a character name and work out details of it. Though I do plan on getting started here soon. I have also been playing Guitar Hero: Aerosmith lately. It's pretty fun, the song selection on it is good. It's been a while since I have played a Guitar Hero game so I am not so good at it I used to be, not that I am really good, but I enjoy playing it for fun. Also here soon, I will be a two year member of Bungie. March 29th, 2007 was when I joined. I have been bouncing back and forth between Heroic and Legendary member. It's actually kind of cool, you sign on one minute you're a Heroic, sign in the next and you're Legendary. I like to guess what I am going to be next, right now I am Legendary. Cool, wonder if I will stay like that for the rest of the year.
