So it has been past the two weeks I normally make a post, which I might add, I am still trying to change. Sorry about that, but I have been busy with a few things and three new games. One of which is Guitar Hero: World Tour. I finally got the guts up and bought the game. Well, not at normal price. My local Walmart had it on sale for nearly half price, so I decided to get it after all this time. It's very cool and I really like it, the new band play is awesome. The one thing I don't like about the new guitar controller is the slider bar, it's rather annoying to use. I mean it is easy to use and if you now where all the buttons are you can move your hand back and forth with relative ease. It's just the touch pad is extremely touchy; or at least on mine it is. Playing the drums is pretty sweet also, it took a little getting used to but I kind of got the hang of it. Some of the songs are pretty good also, some I also can't stand either...
The second game I've been playing has been Assassin's Creed. It's interesting to say the least. A little difficult, which is why I haven't been playing it a whole lot lately. So there really isn't much to say about it. Which means moving on...
To the third and final game, Bioshock. I think this if my favorite game between it and Assassin's Creed(see, I bought them at the same time so...) The story is really interesting and it has a great replay value. One thing I like to use in the game is the plasmid things, I'm not real sure how to explain them. It's like you can throw fireball(Yeah, I know lame but cut me some slack here) and things of that sort. Some of the guns are pretty nice too, the shotgun is awesome. I always seem to go back to the wrench though. I think that's funny that one of, if not the best weapon of the game is a freaking wrench, ah well, if it works I guess.
Now onto some Halo stuff. Only 5 days away from the release of Halo 3: ODST. I'm getting more and more excited for it everyday we get closer. Now though, Bungie has updated their site to reflect on the release of the game. If you haven't yet, I suggest you check it out here. http://www.bungie.net/default.aspx
The front page got a new look to it, now it looks nice and clean, much better then it originally looked. Also the new service records look nice as well. Instead of having separate pages for Halo 3 and Halo 2(like it was) you now have an overview of both ODST and regular Halo 3. I like the chart breakdown on your games played and how it divides them up into how many ranked, social, campaign and custom games you've played. They've always done that, but not as cool looking; just the numbers of how many you have played.
In other news, there was an update to HaloCharts a couple weeks ago and the site owner made two supporter options, yearly and lifetime. In the meantime of that, I somehow got free supporter status. It costs $10 for yearly and $20 for lifetime supporter status. I got access to all sorts of cool features to glance through, plus I can collect my stats daily instead of every 3 days.
I found out that my best k/d ratio per map is Last Resort with 1.35 and my worst per map is Sandbox with a .79. Also my best k/d ratio per playlist is Big Team Social with 1.61 and the worst is the long retired playlist Head To Head at .71. Grifball and 3rd worst with .76, not bad considering I am trying to ball run now. I also found out that it took me 16 weeks, 6 days, 15 hours, 5 minutes and 9 seconds to get my highest skill of 33 in Ranked Team Slayer. And to get a 32 in Lone Wolves(I hate that playlist now...) it took 85 week, 4 days, 9 hours, 18 minutes and 19 seconds and I still can't get a 33 in it.
That is all for now. Maybe later on this week I can manage to get another post out with some older Halo 3 games. Only five more days before we are officially dropped into the firefight.
That was not meant to be directed towards the Firefight mode...even though it's awesome I meant a battle type firefight.
