It was a rather quiet game honestly with the only real action coming in the fourth quarter when Purdue mounted a comeback to tie the game at 31. Purdue was on the board first with a field goal but WMU responded with a couple of touchdowns. With about 40 seconds left in the fourth, Western Michigan started a drive and got within field goal range and took the lead 34-31 where the score stayed.
Hopefully WMU can beat Purdue and I know they can at least give them a run for their money, they did us.
As I am typing this up, the Belk bowl which takes the Louisville Cardinals with a 7-5 record from the Big East and the North Carolina State Wolfpack from the ACC and a 7-5 record is simulating away. Currently NC State is up 7-0, but Louisville is driving towards a score. I will update this post after that simulation is done with the final score and all that.
That's the final of the Belk Bowl. It was pretty uneventful so I can't say much about it. Tonight we will find out how my current tally (at 4-3-1) will end up. Will it be 6-3 or 5-4 or perhaps even 4-5. Who knows, we'll find out tonight though.
