Quick update on the tally. So...hehe, how about that Orange Bowl? My prediction was horrendously wrong. Clemson was supposed to win, but lost 70-33 to West Virginia. After that I am currently sitting at 15-14 with the AT&T Cotton Bowl tonight and the final three games coming over the next three days.
This is the Cotton Bowl, Arkansas and Kansas State. It was a close game, played defense heavily in the first quarter. For some reason it seemed that Kansas State could not have been stopped in the second. Then Arkansas came out after the half and tied the game up early in the fourth. However, KState threw a nice pass and took the lead again. After that it was a quick three and out for Arkansas and clock management once they got the ball back.
This is the BBVA Compass Bowl which takes Southern Methodist and Pittsburgh. Not sure about this game, we'll see tomorrow how it turns out though. The final two games will be posted most likely tomorrow as well. After that, the usual musings of a Grunt will resume.
